Kairos: The Artifact
An ambitious initiative to incorporate climate change models and research into dramatic virtual reality (VR) environments. The vision for Kairos is to translate enormous amounts of scientific data to present global warming hotspots to audiences in a visceral, multisensory manner, so they may experience the pace and scale of climate change on an individual level.
As a Lead Concept Artist on the team I was responsible for developing difficult ideas into striking visual representations.

Senior Capstone, Virtual Gallery Presentation(2020)
My Senior Thesis comprised of paintings and illustrations inspired by research and diving experiences on the Great Barrier Reef, addressing climate change, coral bleaching, and marine biodiversity.
The Covid pandemic canceled the in-person exhibition, shifting it online with real-time technology. This digital format enhanced the immersive educational experience beyond a physical gallery by integrating layout, sound, video, and photography seamlessly.
