References as Practice

While living in Thailand, I sketched many crowded street scenes and appreciated the exchange of genuine experiences within the community. The night market culture was too fast paced to sketch without also taking photo references. Quickly amassing  a number of photographs to explore further in environment studies. This delightful process developed my environmental skills through the places I have visited.
