Lost in Space

Working in teams of three people we had 3 weeks to write, storyboard, block out, animate, set dress, light, texture, add audio and render a complete cinematic which would convey an emotional arch.

A pilot, disoriented after a crash, slowly regains his memory while navigating a damaged ship filled with eerie alarms and static. Unsure if he is the only survivor, he follows a faint radio signal through the flickering corridors. The distressed voice on the transmission urges him forward, leading him to a hydroponic lab overtaken by thriving plant life. There, he discovers a mayday call from the colony below—desperate for the biological cargo he carries to survive. Though the ship is critically damaged, the crops remain intact. Looking out at the planet beneath him, he realizes rescue is coming—and that he will survive.
